As eBay Canada’s country manager, Andrea Stairs supports the continued growth of the world’s largest online marketplace in this country. In this role, Andrea is responsible for cultivating eBay’s community of Canadian users and overseeing marketing, advertising sales, and public and government relations. She also plays an integral role in the overall operations of eBay Canada.

Andrea was most recently head of marketing for eBay Canada, managing the brand’s marketing strategy and execution. She was also instrumental in launching eBay’s French-Canadian website and in leading the eBay Motors team in Canada.

For close to a decade Andrea has developed marketing and financial strategies for major telecom and retail companies, including Gap Inc. and Indigo Books & Music Inc.

After receiving a BA from McGill University, Andrea obtained LLB and MBA degrees from the University of Toronto.

Andrea sits on the boards of directors of the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC) and the Hope for Children Foundation. She is also on the advisory board for Canada’s leading digital media events, nextMEDIA.

A native of Montreal, Andrea now lives in Toronto with her husband.
