Angus Frame

Angus Frame has been with The Globe and Mail since 1996 in various capacities in the news and Report on Business sections. He moved to globeandmail.com in 2000 as Deputy Editor in charge of business coverage and became the site's editor on Sept.10, 2001. He served as Editor for seven years, directing online coverage of 9/11 and its aftermath, a number of federal and political elections, Canada's engagement in Afghanistan and more. Under his tenure, globeandmail.com became a leading Canadian news web site, winning numerous national and international awards for journalistic excellence and digital innovation. In September of 2008, he assumed the position of Group Director, Digital Media at The Globe and Mail and assumed additional responsibility for the business operations of The Globe's Digital properties. In June, 2009 he joined the Globe's executive team as Vice President, Digital Media.

He has an honours BA in Political Science from McMaster University and a Journalism degree from Ryerson University. He lives in Toronto's High Park neighbourhood with his wife, two daughters and dog.
